Happy Diwali from Taipei

Hello Friends!
Wish you a very happy Diwali and prosperous new year.
Made this quick sketch during transit in HongKong airport where I have to wait for 3 hours for my next flight to Taipei.

: : Sketchbook : :

Its time to go back to sketchbook. Too much of digital & mechanical encounters, vectors editing and pixel shifting, its always refreshing to hold (actual) pen-pencil-marker-brush and draw on the paper.

Sketches

I am back to my sketchbook—actually loose sheets of paper found while organizing my studio. There is something unique of these stale, old, damp papers. Inks get really excited when they meet their lost old friends. Nevertheless it always works for me. Will try to make them meet more often. Enjoy!

Conversation with Passengers

Recently I went to Palampur and Andretta by train. I love train journeys. Its fascinating to just watch and hear people around you. I am the last one to initiate the conversation though I enjoy what they discuss, tell, crib about...publicly ;)

Meaningful Meaningless!

Sometimes, something comes out really interesting when you work without any context, meanings, ...briefs! See, what I have found again! These 'randoms' were made during our lectures, while thinking in library, while sketching for project but ended up doing something like these:

Ink bottle cap's hairdo

I love cartridge paper, more older the best result!

PS: Don't even bother to read what its written :)

Sleeping mode sketches

A few sketches made during my recent travel from Delhi to Mumbai (home) by Rajdhani Express. Mostly captured the passengers in sleep mode–safe n steady!
